Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce Announces Staff Changes – Roxie Deer join as Director of Programs and Events
Richmond, IN.—The Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Roxie Deer has joined the staff as Director of Programs and Events.
Roxie is a lifelong resident of Richmond and has served on the Chamber’s Business and Education Committee. Most recently, she has been a Student Success Coach and Counselor at IU East and previously served as an instructor and life coach at The Excel Center. She has a Master’s in Educational Leadership and an undergraduate degree in Sociology. Her event experience includes volunteer leadership positions with Youth As Resources, Liberty Acres United Animal Sanctuary, Reid BRAvo! and HYPE. Roxie has a true passion for community – especially Wayne County.
Melissa Vance, President and CEO of the Chamber, said, “The experience that Roxie brings to the Chamber – along with great energy – is exactly what will help us take the organization to the next level. She knows Wayne County well and has the skills to lead initiatives and accomplish extraordinary things.”
Roxie Deer said, “I am excited about the opportunity to serve the Wayne County area. This role will allow me to use my creative skills to help this organization to continue to grow!”
The Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce is a business network that promotes members and the community by encouraging economic growth and a superior quality of life.
