This month, we are talking about PERSEVERANCE: Refusing to give up when life gets hard. This is the perfect word as we wrap up the school year, while teachers, parents, and students can feel ready to throw in the towel!
Whether while pushing through a tough project, a difficult season in your life, your early morning workout, an exhausting illness, or simply plowing through a bad day, we all need perseverance. Mostly, I think, we need people around us who can help us persevere. We need encouragement, vision for the “why”, accountability, and support in order to push through hard things. This month, we can remember to be those things for kids who are learning how to persevere. Instead of eliminating obstacles, we can be an example and an encouragement for them to fight through and refuse to give up.
